How much does a new boiler cost in Edinburgh?

Our boiler installations start at £1,750 + VAT for a straight combi swap, £2,300 + VAT for our most popular upgrade and £3,000 + VAT for a premium install. The final figure is confirmed after a free survey.

How much is a landlord gas safety certificate in Edinburgh?

A landlord gas safety check covering up to two appliances is £70 + VAT. With a boiler service included it is £85 + VAT. Both are carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers, registration 523861.

Why are my radiators cold at the bottom but hot at the top?

Cold at the bottom and hot at the top is sludge, not air. Bleeding will not fix it. A power flush of the full system starts at £500 + VAT and clears it properly.

It comes down to how many bathrooms you have, how many radiators you are heating, and what your hot water demand looks like. Not the floor area of the house, and bigger is not better.

A boiler installation takes 1 to 4 days depending on the circumstances. A straight like-for-like swap is at the short end. Bathroom plumbing takes around 3 to 4 days.
